ECCE(Certificate of Competency in English) & ECPE (Examination for the Certificate of Proficiency in English)

The ECCE (Examination for the Certificate of Competency in English) and ECPE (Examination for the Certificate of Proficiency in English) certificates are official English-language examinations administered by the University of Michigan, recognized internationally and in Greece by ASEP.

The ECCE corresponds to the B2 level, while the ECPE corresponds to the C2 level, thus offering two different options depending on the candidate’s needs and proficiency.

Both certificates assess key language skills—comprehension and production of spoken and written language, as well as reading and grammar/vocabulary skills—with the ECPE focusing on more demanding and advanced uses of English.
